In fact, we don’t think we need offices at all. Our team of homeworkers tell us they love the freedom and trust that comes from being based at home. So, not only does this save us £££s in rent and other office costs, it also means that we can recruit the best people from all over the country - and that should mean great service and even better holidays for you. In addition, our commitment to sustainability means we don’t have the expense of producing costly brochures and other printed materials, whilst also keeping our travel costs to a minimum. In short, we think we’ve found a better way of doing things for you that enables us to keep our prices so low.
From coaches and drivers, to hotels and attractions, we buy in the services for our holidays as and when we need them. Amongst other things, this means we don’t own our own coaches, which gives us the flexibility we need during quieter seasonal periods.
We love welcoming lots of people onto our short breaks and holidays. Because our coaches and drivers cost us the same whether we have 20 or 40 people on board, making sure our trips are 'well-loaded' really helps us keep our costs down. The same holds true for our coach emissions. It is much better for the planet and Leisuretime to operate one coach with 40 people on board rather than two coaches with 20 on each. Add all of this up, and we can achieve great savings that can be passed on to you in the form of unbeatable prices paired with excellent quality.
A low deposit of just £35* per person is all you need to secure your booking with Leisuretime - unless of course, you book within 6 weeks of departure, in which case the full balance will be due.
But, beware of low deposit schemes, as not all low deposit schemes are the same! For example, a £1 deposit may look attractive but not so attractive when you have to cancel. In most cases, you'd still be liable for the full whack of the real deposit (sometimes up to £99 more!). Our advice is to always check the holiday operator deposit details before you get sucked in! When Leisuretime says a low deposit though, we really mean it! There is absolutely nothing more to pay until 6 weeks before you depart. So, if you have to cancel your trip for any reason up to 6 weeks before departure, you won't be asked to pay any more that the £35* deposit you've already committed to.
And, your balance payment is usually due 42 days (that’s 6 weeks) before your trip is scheduled to depart.
Sometimes though, the unexpected happens and you cannot travel as planned. At Leisuretime, we offer you the following flexibility to amend your booking.
We strongly recommend that you take out appropriate holiday insurance, although holiday insurance is only mandatory when travelling to destinations outside of the UK. If you don’t already have travel insurance, please follow this link.
Occasionally, we may ask you to make a ‘major’ change to your holiday arrangements (such as the date on which you are travelling, or the resort). When this happens, you will have 4 choices:
Other ‘minor’ changes do not warrant the same choices, but we will always try to be as helpful as we can when these occur.
