South West England

Travel to a land of myth and legend, along with some of the UK's best beaches!

South West England is a beautiful coastal and country region that has some unique attractions, stunning places to visit and family days out. Immerse yourself in the mystery of Stonehenge, explore two National Parks and have a culinary experience with exceptional seafood, cream teas and ciders. The attraction of South West England for many is the beaches of Cornwall, Dorset and Devon. There are so many experiences, and it has so much more to offer than just coastline. You can see how the Romans bathed in Bath, and venture to the wild western reaches of Cornwall to seek out subtropical gardens and seafood. Over the coasts and valleys in southwest England lie the mysterious mists of Camelot; the fertile farmlands of Somerset; sleepy charming Dorset villages; and wild windswept moors. The so-called 'West Country' is the legendary region of Arthurian knights and cuckolded kings, Moorish pirates and Mayflower pilgrims, Stone Age sacrifices and solstice awakenings. It also has more sunshine and tends to be warmer than the rest of England, but that may be a myth too!
