- from £45

Ref: DAY200 1
Departure date: Sat, 14 Feb 2026

Why Go?

Welford Park, home to the famous Great British Bake Off tent, has award-winning Snowdrops gardens and grounds which will be open to the public to enjoy the swathes of snowdrops, hellebores, aconites and winter flowering shrubs.

Welford Park boasts one of the finest spread of Galanthus in the UK. The dainty droplets of snowdrops thrive amongst the 5-acre beech wood, enchanting riverbanks of the River Lambourn and the G.cultivars are in the formal garden of Welford Park. Enjoy a walk around the grounds of the picture-perfect Queen Anne style house (not open), then head to the Tea Tent for a warming drink and bite to eat with a visit to the Gift shop to round off a lovely day.

You'll travel first to Marlborough where you'll have time to wander and perhaps grab a spot of lunch. Then on to Welford Park with time to wander at leisure. Afterwards you can relax on the coach as you head back home. We usually depart for home around 16:30hr.
