With its stunning cliffs and historic castle overlooking the bay, alongside vibrant arcades, charming Victorian architecture, and a bustling promenade, it is a delightful mix of relaxation and nostalgia.

You'll stay at the lovely Cumberland Hotel which is really well placed for you to explore this great seaside resort. They will lay on fabulous entertainment for you to enjoy every night and we've also included an extra festive lunch for you to enjoy.

Spend all of your time in and around Scarborough or if you wish to explore further, you can join our fabulous included excursions. To keep you feeling festive, we've included an excursion to the historic cathedral city of York, where their annual Christmas fayre, known locally as the St Nicholas Festival, is set in the historic square and has been established since medieval times. The city truly comes alive with Victorian costumed traders, carol singers and delicious smells of seasonal delights such as roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate laced with brandy. We also head for a couple of hours in the afternoon to the popular port town of Whitby, where our visit is scheduled to coincide with their Christmas Festival Weekend with a Christmas Market and other festive activities.
