Over the former – linked by a spectacular Marine Drive carved into the sea-cliff, you’ll find a second beach, the West Shore. It was here that Alice Pleasance Liddell, who inspired ‘Alice in Wonderland’, holidayed as a child. There’s an Alice Trail – simply follow the White Rabbit’s bronze footprints around the town! For something more adventurous take the nostalgic Great Orme Tramway 1500 metres to the summit for inspiring views as far away as Ireland on a clear day!
